Ok...now got to get back into the habit of blogging away....so easy to just not worry about it
So here we go!
Wed Newyrs eve - went out for a sorta long run. Well 19k but that's long for me of late. Felt great in this. Hamstring was good. Also smashed myself in the gym doing weights & a cycle class
Thursday Newyrs day - No running going to happen this day! Did walk to the beach in the morning & have a swim....the rest of the day was watching "thr great escape" on TV & eating a shit load of ice blocks!
Fri 2nd Jan - Went for easy 10.5km run......tight hamstring but have worked out it was from the weights I did on newyrs eve. Also did a cycle class in the morning & again in the evening. Also screamed a few 4 letter words getting a massage!!
Now onto today...Saturday 3rd Jan - Did the dingo run with the trotters. Thats a 30min out then turn around & run back doing a negative split. I went out slow at the start then just stayed with the front runners as the pace picked up. Then turned around & ran a good solid pace with Mark
Tomorrow is around the bay....Looking forward to this one. This will be my 3rd one. Only thing is it starts at 5am!
